A sharp shooter of Yogesh Bhadoda gang of western Uttar Pradesh, Kapil, was killed in an encounter with Special Task Force( STF) of UP police on Sunday night.
UP police had earlier announced a reward of Rs 1 lakh on the head of the deceased criminal , was a native of Baghpat. The criminal was killed in the encounter near Hindon bridge under Bisarkh police station area in Gautam Buddha Nagar district at around 2100 hrs.
STF officials here said on Monday that 2 pistols, cartridges and a motor cycle were recovered from the criminal.
The 33 year old Kapil , was involved in 34 cases of murder, attempt to murder, robbery, dacoity in Bhagpat and nearby districts.
Kapil was involved in the murder of 2 peopke Sat Singh and Mandeep in Khekra area of Baghpat on January 31, 2022.
