J&K DGP visits operation bases in terrorist-infested Basantgarh
Nalin Prabhat conducted an operational review of forward operating bases on the strategic tri-junction of the Kathua, Doda, and Udhampur districts in the Basantgarh area.
A day after they killed three militants, security forces on Monday resumed a cordon and search operation in Khudwani area in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Police said following specific information about the presence of militants, troops of Rashtriya Rifles, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and police started the operation in Wani Mohalla.

“Searches are in progress,” a police officer said.

Three militants, including a Pakistani national, were killed by security forces in the area on Sunday.
