Senior AAP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia on Monday joined a padyatra in Delhi’s Dwarka sub-city.

Addressing the public, he said that after the Supreme Court’s relief to him and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal in the form of bail, now they will appear for the trial by fire amid the people of the city.

He said that nothing affects the two AAP leaders, whether they are called dishonest by the BJP or any party, but what matters is that if the people call them honest.

Sisodia said that false cases were filed against him, adding that the agencies did not find anything from his house, bank or the locker.

He further said that he did politics of honesty, and cleared the encroachments from the lands in Delhi and built government schools at those places for the children.

He said that when he and the AAP chief were released on bail, Kejriwal told him that now they will only get back on their positions as CM and Deputy CM when the people give them the ‘certificate of honesty.’

“BJP people can keep saying that I am not honest; it does not affect me. If the people say we are honest, we will come back and take our respective positions,” Sisodia added.

“Elections will be held in the next four months, and you can press the button and say that you want your brother to become the education minister once again,” he requested.

Sisodia added that in Delhi, only the pair of Kejriwal and Manish can build new schools, and if the people want good government schools, then they must vote for the Kejriwal-Sisodia duo, he urged.

He claimed that whenever a corrupt politician looks at Kejriwal’s photograph, the thought that comes to his mind is that if the AAP chief comes to their state with his party, their business will shut down.

“Kejriwal and AAP’s broom are a symbol of honesty across the country,” Sisodia claimed.
