Nothing seems to be going right for former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat. This time he is in the target of his own party leader for making a post about his ancestral village on social media. Former Uttarakhand Congress president Kishore Upadhyaya has lashed Harish Rawat on his comment about village life and problem.

Kishore Upadhyaya too wrote a long post on his social media account to attack Harish Rawat. The ex-Chief Minister had expressed pain over the migration taking place in his village. Kishore blasted Rawat by charging, “It is easy to show concern about village while dwelling in remote village, but had you done anything while staying in swanky palaces the situation of the hill state would have been different.”

The ex-Uttarakhand Congress chief went ahead by saying that Harish Rawat is presently facing the political punishment of public and is expressing pain over the silence of his village while staying in his family house.

Harish Rawat shared memories about his village Mohanari, located in district Almora. The ex-CM also got trolled on social media for his comment. Rawat had to face anger of the public on twitter for ignoring and doing nothing to solve the migration problem of the hills.

But among all the ex-state Congress chief used hardest word by accusing Rawat of ignoring own village while serving as Union Cabinet Minister and Chief Minister. Kishore Upadhyaya says “The condition of all the villages of Uttarakhand is like your village. But, you have no right to ponder over the problem now.”

Going  one step ahead he lashes, “Every political leader remembers his village when he is in crises or have lost hope in life. The condition of every big and successful leader is same, but much was expected from a grass-roots leader like you.”
