Rajasthan International Expo to commence at Jodhpur on March 20
The expo is touted to prove a milestone in the exports of handicraft products from wooden and iron furniture to textiles, agro to food products, ceramics to other products.
More than 20,000 foreign buyers from 28 countries have been invited to participate in the expo, and it will be a major milestone in the field of exports in Jodhpur being the Handicraft Capital of India.
The first Rajasthan International Expo is scheduled to be held in Jodhpur from March 20-22. The expo is being held with an objective to promote exports in the handicraft sector of the state.
The State Industries and Commerce Minister Shakuntala Rawat, and Rajeev Arora, chairman, Rajasthan Export Promotion Council (REPC) and RAJSICO launched the logo and brochure of the expo at a press conference here on Friday.

“Rajasthan will promote and showcase its industrial development, and exports in handicrafts, wooden and iron furniture, steel utensils, agricultural food products, stone articles, and engineering goods in the 2-days expo,” Arora said.
