Atiq Ahmad’s lawyer listed as history-sheeter
The Prayagraj police have listed slain gangster Atiq Ahmad's lawyer, Vijay Mishra, as a history-sheeter with the Cantonment police station on number 22 B, the police said.
A team of investigators from Prayagraj on Thursday questioned some church officials of the St Paul’s Church School, located in the civil lines area of the city.
The police team went to the Bishop House to meet bishop Prem Prakash Haavil and his secretary but both were not there.
Officials at the local Hari Parbat police station said the Prayagraj police team had come to collect papers relating to an alleged land scam said to be worth several hundred crores of Rupees.

A case is already registered with the civil lines police station on the basis of a complaint filed by half a dozen people.
An official of the diocese said the police team had been given relevant documents that cleared our position.
