Health and Family Welfare minister Vipin Singh Parmar on Friday said the Congress party had no moral right to accuse the state government over law and order situation in the state as Congress government itself had failed completely to maintain law and order during its regime.

Reacting to the statements of few Congress leaders, he said it seems as if they were in sheer desperation after losing the power and were now trying to divert the attention of people by making baseless accusations.

The minister said the Congress leaders must remember that state had been shamed by brutal murder of Yug and Kotkhai case and many more such incidents had occurred during previous government’s tenure.

Not only that all nine officers and officials of the special investigation team constituted to investigate Kotkhai case had been put behind the bar which amply speaks about the situation of law and order that was prevailing during the Congress rule.
