The arrested individuals were identified as Manoj, a resident of Rohini, Anil from Haryana. The duo was arrested through technical surveillance based on a complaint that they made an extortion call. Both of them confessed to their involvement in the case.
According to the police, a PCR call was received at around 7:42 am, in Punjabi Bagh Police station regarding the accident involving a DTC bus. Following the call, a team was rushed to the spot.
The accused has been identified as Rajan Phour, a resident of Panipat, Haryana.
The violators include all types of commercial vehicles like taxis, mini trucks, trucks, etc., the police added.
Based on the circumstances in which the body was found, the police have registered a case of murder and formed multiple teams to investigate the matter and sent the body of the child for postmortem examination.
