LG declares ‘public holiday’ on February 5, the day of polling in Delhi

The Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Vinai Kumar Saxena, on Monday, declared Fecruary 5, the day of voting for the legislative assembly elections, a 'public holiday' in all the government offices, local and autonomous bodies, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) under the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD).

New Delhi assembly constituency sees triangular contest

With just couple of weeks to go for the February 5 Delhi Assembly polls, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, BJP's Parvesh Verma and Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit, who are contesting from New Delhi assembly constituency ,have intensified their efforts to woo voters.
