LG declares ‘public holiday’ on February 5, the day of polling in Delhi

The Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Vinai Kumar Saxena, on Monday, declared Fecruary 5, the day of voting for the legislative assembly elections, a 'public holiday' in all the government offices, local and autonomous bodies, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) under the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD).

BJP accuses AAP, Cong of joining hands with ‘anti-national elements’

Ahead of the February 5 Delhi Assembly elections, the BJP on Monday hit out at Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, accusing them of joining hands with ''anti-national elements'' and standing alongside them.
