Delhi Police on Wednesday stated that they are trying to establish communication with AAP MLA-elect Amanatullah Khan and have served a notice to the legislator asking for his cooperation in the investigation.
Hours after Delhi Police launched a search operation to nab him, Aam Aadmi Party leader Amanatullah Khan on Wednesday, made the first public statement since the incident, and said he has "not fled" anywhere and is in his assembly constituency.
The MCD said the contribution would be facilitated through a voluntary deduction from the salary bill of February.
