After three days of ‘poor’ air quality, as Delhi woke up to a pleasant morning on Thursday residents could breathe easy as the air quality reportedly improved. The Air Quality Index (AQI) is recorded at 134, under the ‘moderate’ category.

The State Pollution Control Board organised the public hearing to grant environment clearance to Hindalco Industries Limited for Maliparbat Bauxite Mine at Kankaramba under Pottangi block of Koraput district.
The commissioning of these projects would lead to the generation of employment opportunities for over 3,461 persons in the state. The projects approved by the panel were from diverse sectors like Steel, Food Processing and Petroleum, said officials.
