In the run-up to the Delhi legislative assembly elections, farmers and the residents of all the city's 360 villages opened a front condemning the prolonged neglect of the rural population, and have decided that they will support only those who could resolve their crucial issues.
The Delhi BJP chief pointed out that after a decade of governance by the Aam Aadmi Party's government in the national capital, Rangpuri continues to be in a shambles under the jurisdiction of AAP MLAs and councilors.
According to the AAP chief, Delhi government will provide Rs 2,100 per month to every woman above 18 years of age under ‘Mahila Samman Yojana’ and offer free treatment for all senior citizens under ‘Sanjeevani Yojana.
Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena on Sunday expressed disappointment over the sorry state of civic affairs across various places in the national capital, saying that it was disturbing to see helplessness and miserable lives of lakhs of people.
He said the BJP in the last seven years has delivered justice to the Sikhs who suffered in the 1984 riots and after 35 years justice was delivered.
According to the data, the death rate decreased from 7.29 per thousand in 2019 to 7.03 per thousand in 2020.
Kejriwal said when the AAP government was formed in Delhi, the crops of the farmers were also damaged. The AAP government had compensated the farmers more than their cost of expense of Rs 18,000, to Rs 20,000 per acre.

The decision has been taken in view of sharp decline in production and revenue from 2012--2013 onwards.
