In the run-up to the Delhi legislative assembly elections, farmers and the residents of all the city's 360 villages opened a front condemning the prolonged neglect of the rural population, and have decided that they will support only those who could resolve their crucial issues.

According to the AAP chief, Delhi government will provide Rs 2,100 per month to every woman above 18 years of age under ‘Mahila Samman Yojana’ and offer free treatment for all senior citizens under ‘Sanjeevani Yojana.
Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena on Sunday expressed disappointment over the sorry state of civic affairs across various places in the national capital, saying that it was disturbing to see helplessness and miserable lives of lakhs of people.
An official spokesman said that in its resolve to make administration efficient and transparent, the Government has retired officials found inefficient and acting against the public interest. These officials conducted their duties in ways that were unbecoming of a public servant and in violation of the established code of conduct.
The constable Prasanna Behera was suspended and was later sacked for allegedly running a bar illegally at Hotel South City Bar in Patrapada. The acts of improprieties by Behera had come to light in the wake of the murder of senior journalist Navin Das’ son Manish Anurag.
In a letter to the Union home minister on Thursday, Bidhuri alleged that Municipal Corporations of Delhi is going through a serious financial crisis and the Delhi government led by Aam Aadmi Party has deliberately created such a miserable situation so that Corporations find it difficult to perform their duties.
The state currently has 4,201 active COVID-19 cases while 10,27,645 patients including 546 on Thursday recovering from the disease.
