A socio-politic organisation, National Scheduled Castes Alliance (NSCA), on Friday alleged the nexus of ruling party politicians with the civil-police administration in Punjab is denying justice to the poor in the state.
The NSCA chief, Paramjit Singh Kainth, said people are failing to get the justice because of the above nexus which, he alleged, has created a terror like situation in the state and the poor people are compelled to face a repression.

He said there are a series of cases in which the people are denied the justice because of the pressure of this so-called nexus between politicians, civil administration and police officials.
Kainth said in the home district of the Chief Minister, Amarinder Singh, the administration has become a puppet in the hands of the legislators of the ruling party and people are compelled to face many hardships.
He said 26 September (2017), the police registered a case against former Congress legislator from Mansa, Mangat Ram Bansal, a school’s owner Rakesh Kumar, Salina Rani, Veena Rani, Mohint Kumar and Kuldeep Kumar at Patran Police Station concerning a suicide by a person Sandeep Kumar.
Kainth said even as Sandeep left a suicide note and it was in the possession of the police but due to the undue interference of the Congress party’s legislator, neither of the accused named in the First Information Report have been arrested so far by the police.
