The arrest resulted in the seizure of 195 grams of Methamphetamine (MD) drug, 77 grams of cocaine, and 57 thousand cash amount were recovered from their possession.

Acting on secret information, the police conducted a raid in the Mahipalpur Extension area nabbed a man named Mohammad Shadab, and seized the drugs from his possession.

A Nigerian woman named Clara was also arrested later at his instance.
During interrogation, Shadab disclosed that as a human trafficker, he came in contact with some Nigerian nationals involved in supplying drugs. To make easy money, he involved himself in supplying narcotic substances to various hotels and clubs using an online parcel delivery app by hiding the drugs inside T-shirt pockets.
The police have registered a case under the NDPS Act at the Vasant Kunj police station and launched an investigation to identify their other accomplices.
