Senior TMC leader and MLA Iqbal Ahmed was on Thursday summoned by CBI for questioning in the Narada case, CBI officials said.
Ahmed, who is also the younger brother of TMC MP Sultan Ahmed, has been summoned for questioning on June 10.
This is the first time that CBI has summoned a TMC leader in the Narada case.

"Yes we have summoned Iqbal Ahmed for questioning, as his name has come up in numerous clippings of the Narada sting operation," a senior CBI official said.
Iqbal Ahmed could not be contacted for a reaction.
Calcutta High Court in March ordered a preliminary inquiry by CBI into the Narada sting operation in which several TMC leaders, including state ministers, were purportedly caught on camera taking bribes.
The sting tapes were released to various media organisations ahead of the 2016 West Bengal Assembly polls.
A division bench of the high court noted that a report of the Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL), Chandigarh had said the tapes were not tampered with.
