Police apprehends gang involved in Metro cable theft
The Metro unit of Delhi Police has apprehended four thieves involved in stealing Metro cable and recovered the stolen cable and a vehicle used in the commission of the crime.
Delhiites can board the last Metro at 10 p.m. on Thursday, Diwali night, a Delhi Metro Rail Corporation statement said on Wednesday.
Instead of the usual 11.30 p.m., “the last metro train service on October 19… will start at 10 p.m. from terminal stations of all metro lines including Airport Express,” it said.

The time for the start of the service though would remain unchanged i.e. 6 a.m. for usual lines and 4:45 a.m. for the Airport Express line.
