Delhi PWD Minister inspects development projects
During the inspection, Minister Pravesh Verma took stock of three important projects. The first is from Bhoro Marg to Sarai Kale Khan where road strengthening work is going on till the ring road.
Days, after Spiti area was affected by flash floods in Shichling nullah, Agriculture and Tribal Development minister Ram Lal Markanda on Monday, ordered Public Works Department (PWD) to immediately provide relief to the affected.
Addressing the closing ceremony of La Darcha fair 2018 in Lahaul Spiti district, he directed authorities to revamp the flood affected areas in Spiti. He congratulated the people of Spiti valley for organising the whole festival.

La-Darcha Fair is a popular medium of celebration for the people of Spiti Valley and earlier, it used to be celebrated in the month of July at Kibbar ground.

But now it is being organized in Kaza sub division of Spiti and the centre of attraction of the festival was the traditional articles and recipes of the district.
