T’gana woman murdered by FB friend in UP
A married woman from Telangana, who was missing for about one week, has been found murdered in Uttar Pradesh, where she had gone to meet her Facebook friend.
A man in Mumbai’s Nallasopara allegedly strangulated a woman he befriended on Facebook after she refused to have sex with him.
According to reports, the 25-year-old man killed the 20-year-old woman by choking her with a shoe lace.
The man has been detained and, according to reports, has confessed to his crime.

Police reportedly said that the two had become friends on the popular social networking site. The accused man had called the woman to his residence in Nallasopara on Sunday, 18 February.
According to the police, the man demanded sexual favours from the woman, which she refused. Enraged at the rebuff, the man then used a shoe lace to strangulate her.
Reports say that the man threw the woman’s body which was found by locals who alerted the cops.
