Congress worker dies in police action against party’s protest march in Guwahati
The demonstration that was part of the nationwide “Raj Bhavan Chalo” campaign turned violent when police fired tear gas shells to disperse the crowd.
Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on Sunday asked state DGP to inquire into an incident wherein a man tried to evade police action for not wearing helmet by flaunting his “contacts” in the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).
The video of the incident, occurred in south Goa, went viral last week.

He said the chief minister has reacted after the video has been widely circulated on social media.
