PM Modi greets Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee on her 70th birthday
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Sunday, greeted West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on her 70th birthday.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday remembered the noted Indian poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan on his 15th death anniversary.
Banrejee took to Twitter saying, “Solemnly remembering the poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan on his death anniversary”.

Harivansh Rai Bachchan was born to a Hindu family in Allahabad (present-day Uttar Pradesh) on 27 November 1907.
He is best known for his early work Madhushala. He is also the husband of social activist, Teji Bachchan, and father of the noted Hindi film actor, Amitabh Bachchan.
In 1976, he was honoured with the Padma Bhushan for his immense contribution to Hindi literature.
