India, Italy to intensify cooperation to combat terrorism
India and Italy have pledged to intensify cooperation for effectively countering the misuse of technology for terrorist purposes.
The West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Saturday wished Saina Nehwal on her 28th birthday.
The Chief Minister in a tweet said; “Wishing @NSaina a very happy birthday”.

Former world no. 1 badminton player, Saina Nehwal, is among one of the most celebrated Indian shuttlers in India’s badminton history.
She became the first Indian badminton player to win a Olympic medal. She won a bronze medal at 2012 London Summer Olympics.

She is the only Indian to have won at least a medal in every BWF major individual event, namely the Olympics, the BWF World Championships, and the BWF World Junior Championships.
She has won 10 Superseries titles and over 23 international titles.
In 2016, she was conferred Padma Bhushan, India’s third highest civilian award, by the Government of India (GoI). Nehwal is also a recipient of the nation’s top two sporting honours, namely the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna and the Arjuna Award.
A brown belt in Karate, Nehwal has also written an autobiography, Playing to Win, to inspire people to develop an interest in sports.
She is currently ranked 12th in the world.
