Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has claimed that Uttar Pradesh is the most promising economic destination for the world today.
“Even the biggest countries are giving priority to UP for choosing economic destinations. All this is the result of the thought and vision of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Every youth will get employment in the state, the farmer will be prosperous. This state will not only become the leader of the country but of the world,” he said.

Addressing a prize distribution programme organised on the conclusion of the 90th Founder’s Week celebrations of Maharana Pratap Education Council as the chief guest in Gorakhpur on Saturday, the Lok Sabha Speaker said the youth have a big role in changing India’s identity in the world.
Elaborating on his contention, he said the youth of India have amazing capacity for thinking and innovation. To make India a developed and prosperous nation, the youth will have to remember their rich heritage, great personalities like Swami Vivekananda, Madan Mohan Malviya and Mahant Digvijaynath and the inspiration they got from them.
Om Birla said UP is not only famous for its glorious culture, spirituality and hard work today but also for being the fastest growing state in the world in the wake of the developments it has achieved in the recent past.
“With a long vision in all sectors be it industry, service, education, health technology, etc., by Yogi, today there is peace here, strong law and order, justice, equality and egalitarian society. Where there is peace, there also comes progress and prosperity. This is the reason why people of the world choose UP as an economic destination due to the rule of law and peace,” he said.
Welcoming the Lok Sabha Speaker, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that India is rapidly changing and moving ahead in every field of development which is a matter of curiosity and wonder for the entire world.
Yogi Adityanath pointed out that the new India provides so many houses to the poor that a new Australia can be settled. Population of Australia is around 30 million while a similar number of new houses for the poor have been built in the country in the last few years.
CM Yogi recalled that India provided free ration to 800 million people during the Corona period, more than the combined population of all the countries of America and Europe.
Terming the leadership of G-20 as “an unprecedented achievement for India,” the CM said that the group comprises countries that represent 60 per cent of the world’s population, 75 per cent of trade, 85 per cent of GDP and 95 per cent of patents. “The theme of the G-20 under the leadership of India is Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, i.e. One Family, One Earth and One Future. Our country has always given importance to this feeling. India has given shelter to every religion in times of trouble.”
Yogi Adityanath said more than 11 programmes of the G-20 are to be held in four cities of Uttar Pradesh for which preparations must start now itself. He added that educational institutions should also begin their preparations in this regard.
The Chief Minister advised the educational institutions to come out of their neutral role and engage with practicality. He said according to today’s requirements, educational institutions will have to move towards practical information rather than staying confined to the classroom.
On the occasion, the chief minister also encouraged sportspersons saying that there were immense possibilities in the field of sports in Gorakhpur and eastern Uttar Pradesh. “The wrestlers here used to make a splash in the world. The Kabaddi team of Gorakhpur was considered very good. The talents here can go a long way in swimming, sailing, shooting. Institutions will have to make efforts for this, the government will cooperate in this”, the CM said.
