Anna Lezhneva cheers Pawan Kalyan’s win; learn more about her
Anna Lezhneva joyfully celebrates as her husband, Pawan Kalyan, secures a decisive victory in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections, marking a significant political milestone.
The announcement came as part of the party’s second list of 72 candidates across 11 states released on Wednesday.
The Bharatiya Janata Party named Harsh Malhotra and Yogendra Chandolia the party’s candidates from East Delhi and North-West Delhi constituencies for the Lok Sabha elections. Their names figured in the second list of 72 candidates announced by the saffron party on Wednesday evening.
The BJP had named its candidates for the five other seats in Delhi in the party’s first list released on March 2. However, the candidates for the two remaining seats were not announced then.
Harsh Malhotra replaces former cricketer Gautam Gambhir who is currently the MP from East Delhi. He announced his decision not to contest elections this time.

Malhotra is active in Delhi politics. In the past, he contested for the MCD mayor’s post from East Delhi.
Famous singer Hansraj Hans, who is the MP from North- West Delhi at present, has not been given a ticket by the saffron party that fielded Yogendra Chandolia, who has been in Delhi politics for a while and had been elected as a municipal councilor several times in the past.
The announcement of the remaining Delhi seats came as part of the BJP’s second list for the Lok Sabha which includes 72 names across 11 states.
The BJP had, earlier, released the first list on March 2, where the names of five candidates for parliamentary seats in Delhi were made public, while four of the sitting MPs were denied tickets.
The party fielded Bansuri Swaraj, daughter of former Union Minister late Sushma Swaraj from the New Delhi parliamentary seat, which is currently held by the Union Minister of State for External Affairs.
Praveen Khandelwal’s name was announced for the Chandni Chowk seat, replacing the incumbent party parliamentarian and former Union Minister Harsh Vardhan.
The saffron party fielded Kamaljeet Sehrawat as its nominee from the West Delhi seat, currently held by Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma.
Ranveer Singh Bidhuri, who is the Leader of the Opposition in the Delhi Assembly, will contest from the South Delhi seat as the BJP’s candidate replacing incumbent Ramesh Bidhuri.
Former Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari will contest from North East Delhi parliamentary seat as BJP candidate. He was elected as an MP from this seat in the last general elections.
