A landslide near Shimla on Dhalli bypass road on Saturday afternoon blocked traffic movement in the area.
The traffic to Dhalli bypass has been diverted via Chotta Shimla and Lakkar Bazar.

According to police, the incident occurred at 2.30 pm, when a portion of a hill collapsed on National Highway 5 due to heavy rains and caused damage to vehicles parked in the area.

“A temple located on the Dhalli bypass road has also suffered damages,” said a police official and added that no casualties have been reported yet.
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has said that the state government is committed to strengthen the rural economy and special emphasis was being laid on promoting natural farming.
The study, based on data from 2,609 patients who sought treatment at Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC) Shimla between 2014 and 2023, was carried out by students of IGMC in collaboration with the Nephrology Department.
