In view of the passion of youth towards Defence forces, the Haryana government has approved funds to the Department of Sainik and Ardh Sainik Welfare for various expenditure through the concerned Deputy Commissioners for convening recruitment rallies by the Zonal Recruiting Office, Ambala in the state.
An official spokesperson said that the Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has approved to allocate a sum of Rs 40 Lakh proposed by the Sainik and ArdhSainik Welfare Department for the same.

He said that the CM has also directed the officers to make better co-ordination with Zonal Recruiting Office, Ambala to ensure optimum utilisation of the allotted vacancies in pursuit of the overall employment generation in the state.
Four recruitment rallies in a year were organised to fill up allotted vacancies by the Zonal Recruiting Office, Ambala. Rs 10 Lakh per recruitment rally would be allocated to the concerned Executive Committee at the district level.
The spokesperson further stated that the Committee at the state level would be headed by Chief Secretary and at the district level by the Deputy Commissioner concerned.
The vacancies were allotted to the Zonal Recruitment Office or state based on the twin considerations of actual anticipated retirements and the percentage of the recruitable male population as per the national census.
In addition, open recruitment was carried out on certain central category vacancies such as clerk, store-keeper technical, religious teachers, Army Education Corps (AEC) Havildars, the spokesperson added.
