In a shocking incident, a photo studio in Kozhikode district in Kerala allegedly morphed photographs of women, usually taken at wedding functions, and used them for pornographic purposes.
According to media reports, the incident came to light after a woman spotted her morphed image which was circulated on social media. The picture was taken at a wedding function. She, reportedly, filed a complaint against Sadayam Shoot & Edit, a studio in Vadakara town.

A special investigation team was set up to investigate the case.
The police have sealed the studio and during the investigation, they recovered several documents.
Two owners of the studio – Dineshan and Satheeshan – have been arrested along with the co-owners.
The police is on a lookout for Bibeesh, another accused in the matter.
If the media reports are to be believed, a hard disk with more than 40,000 photographs of women from various marriage functions was seized from the studio. However, it is yet to be established whether all these pictures were misused by the accused or not.
C Banumathi, the Women Cell Circle Inspector said that the accused have confessed to the crime.
