The BJP leader further hit out at Kejriwal, alleging that for the last decade he and his party have been giving false hopes of development to the people of Delhi and have misled the city’s residents.
In a reaction to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s speech in the Assembly on Saturday where he remembered former Delhi minister Manish Sisodia, who is presently behind the bars, Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva said that Kejriwal today sounded as if he is fighting a lost battle.
Sachdeva further accused the Delhi CM of giving false hope to their jailed party leader Manish Sisodia by saying that he hoped the next budget will be presented by the former minister.
The BJP leader claimed that Kejriwal was under pressure from the jailed AAP leader and due to that time and again gives him false political hopes, despite knowing that Sisodia is unlikely to get bail in near future, Sachdeva added.

Sachdeva also criticized Kejriwal, claiming that AAP leader takes Lord Ram’s name when he mentions ED summons and further added that he must know that every time he ‘politically’ takes lord’s name, he hurts the sentiments of crores of voters, who are all devotees of Lord Ram.
The Delhi BJP chief further said that dozens of political parties in the country and thousands of elected representatives who have realised that people from their constituencies have pinned their hopes on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s agenda of development, has prompted them to move over to BJP and join the journey of development.
