Ahead of the Lok Sabha polls, Delhi Congress President Devender Yadav exuded confidence in the India bloc winning all seven seats in the national capital.

He said the Delhi Congress would hold town hall sessions in every parliamentary constituency to discuss issues affecting the people.

Addressing a press conference at the Delhi Congress office along with senior party leaders on Monday, Yadav said, “Congress and INDIA bloc workers have been campaigning in complete coordination and understanding to reach out to the people across Delhi with the party’s pledges as it is looking towards a clean sweep of all the seven Lok Sabha seats.”

He asserted that the BJP would be ousted from all their seven sitting seats and Congress with the INDIA bloc sweeping all the seven seats in Delhi.

Stating that polling booths are the backbones of every political party, he said, “Delhi Congress has taken every initiative to strengthen polling booths so that the Lok Sabha elections could be fought with all our might.”

“The booth-level agents are being trained in booth management and election-day management in each of Delhi’s 1,3630 polling booths to ensure that all the voters cast their votes, and elect the INDIA bloc candidates with overwhelming margins,” the Delhi Congress chief said.

Yadav further said, “Delhi Congress will organise ‘Town Hall’ in the coming days to discuss threadbare issues of the people like price rise, unemployment, GST, rehri-patri vendors, pollution, women’s safety and security, law and order, JJ clusters, resettlement, and unauthorized colonies, ownership rights to the poor in every Lok Sabha constituency and to find solutions.”

He informed that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has agreed to address one of the Town Hall meetings.

Voting for the seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi is scheduled to take place on 25th May.
