Gangster Gadoli, who was allegedly killed in a staged gun fight by a Haryana Police Crime Branch team in Mumbai on February 7 last year, was cremated on September 2 in his native village here.
After a seven-month wait, Gadoli’s family on September 1 finally claimed his body, which had been lying in Mumbai’s JJ Hospital morgue since his death.
Paramjeeet had been absconding with his service pistol since then.
“Sector 40 Police Station chief Sudhir Kumar and Crime Branch teams raided the house and arrested people for gambling,” a senior police officer said.
The three arrested women were illegally serving liquor to gamblers while the fourth one was helping them in playing.
Paramjeet and his partner Kapil, a resident of Sector 40, have been arrested under relevant sections of Gambling, Arms and Excise acts.
The weapon recovered is the service pistol allotted to accused Paramjeet before he absconded after Gadoli’s killing.
