Safety of Sanatan Dharma ensures safety of humanity: Yogi
Calling Sanatan Dharma the national religion of India, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Friday that it is the collective responsibility of the citizens to protect it.
Bolangir district SP Mr K Siba Subramani rewarded a person and handed over a letter of appreciation for his honesty. Ajit Kumar Joshi of Bangomunda had found Rs 1,36,300 cash on the road and deposited the cash to the police station on Thursday.
On getting information about the incident, the district SP rewarded Joshi at his office and hoped that such acts would help spread the message of honesty and humanity among people.

It is learnt that one Lokanath Thela of Badichakka village had lost the amount when he was returning after withdrawing cash from a bank for distribution of old age pension to beneficiaries.

Lokanath, on the same day, lodged a case of theft in Bangomunda Police station. Ajit had found the cash wrapped in a napkin and handed it over to the Bangomunda police.
