Three people died and two were injured when an Alto car met with an accident in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh on Thursday. The injured have been shifted to Rampur hospital for treatment.
All five were in the same car. The accident happened at around 9 pm when the car rolled down the hill at Vikas Nagar in Bari under Nichar tehsil of the district.
Two of them, Surya Kant (25) and Nain Chand (40), died on the spot while the third, identified as Yogeshwer (29), died after he was taken to hospital.
Yogeshwar was the owner of the vehicle. The two injured have been identified as Rohit and Mulak Raj, both aged 20.
All five hailed from different villages of Kinnaur.
An immediate relief of Rs 10,000 each has been given to the kin of the deceased and Rs 5000 each to the injured.
This is the second accident in Himachal Pradesh on the same day.

As many as 13 people lost their lives and 16 others were injured after the Uttarakhand Transport Corporation bus they were travelling in skidded off the Rishikesh Gangotri highway and rolled down a 250-metre deep gorge near Suliyadhar in Tehri district.
