Haryana: Over Rs 11522 cr paid to farmers against purchase of paddy, millet
Out of 49,79,172 MT paddy arrived in mandis, 48,57,405 MT has been procured.
Private schools in Haryana, those are not complying with the state government’s order wherein it had announced winter vacations from 25 December to 8 January, will face action as the Education Department has decided to issue show cause notices to such schools.
In an order issued on Thursday, the Director, Secondary Education Haryana, has asked all the Education Officers at district and block levels to identify such schools and issue show cause notices.
The order says that action would be taken against the violating schools under Rule, 18, 19 and 20 of Haryana Education Rules 2003.

An official spokesperson said that it had been brought to the knowledge of the Department that despite the government announcing winter vacations, numerous private schools in the state remained open which was a non-compliance of the government’s order and that is a serious issue.
Haryana government on 22 December had announced 15-day winter vacations for all schools in the state.
As per the order issued by the Director, Secondary Education Department, Haryana, all the government schools, government-aided schools and private schools in the state will remain closed from 25 December to 8 January 2018, on account of winter vacations.
