Four staff members of a private school in the district have been booked for allegedly forging documents to get medical claims worth over Rs.5 lakh, police said on Friday.
The four persons, including a deputy headmistress, two teachers and a librarian, allegedly fabricated various medical certificates, payment receipts and affixed fake stamps on the documents that they submitted to the school last year for processing their claims, assistant police inspector, Bazarpeth police station, SB More said.

Based on a complaint by district civil surgeon Dr BC Kempi Patil, police registered offences last evening against the four persons under IPC sections for forgery, he said.
No arrest has been made so far, More said, adding that a probe is on in the matter.
