Dense fog covers Delhi as it shivers at 7.6 deg C
A thick layer of fog engulfed the national capital on Wednesday as it woke to a chilly morning with the weather department recording the minimum temperature at 7.6 degrees Celsius.
Four persons were killed and equal number of persons were injured in a head on crash involving a truck and a SUV near Kattia Chowk on the Cuttack-Chandballi State Highway in Odisha, due to poor visibility caused by dense fog.
The deceased and injured persons were all occupants of the ill-fated SUV, police said.

While three of them died on the spot, another victim succumbed to injuries at nearby Nishintakoili Community Health Centre.

Four others, seriously injured, were shifted to SCB Medical College & Hospital in Cuttack, police said.
