Cong’s BJP anti-Himachal statement contrary to facts: Dhumal
To make the people of the country aware of the facts, it is necessary that the entire matter be brought before the people in detail, he stated.
Former chief minister Prem Kumar Dhumal on Thursday slammed the government for lawlessness in Himachal and said the arrest of former Shimla SP DW Negi in Gudia case proves BJP’s allegations.
Talking to mediapersons here, Dhumal said BJP had already raised question on Congress government’s laxity in the gangrape and murder of 16-year-old girl in Kotkhai area of Shimla district and the poor law and order situation was a main issue during assembly polls.

The former chief minister said the party is confident of winning 60 seats in the state as the people of the state had voted against corrupt and inefficient governance. “The huge voter turnout would go in favour of the BJP and the people of the state had voted for change in the elections,” he said.
He said the party would take action against rebels for working against the official candidate as per the party constitution and the action would be taken after due consultation with disciplinary committee.
