Lok Sabha adjourned till 2 pm after Samajwadi MPs raise slogans, placards inside House
A major ruckus ensued in the Lok Sabha as Samajwadi Party leaders raised slogans and placards, forcing Speaker Om Birla to adjourn the House till 2 pm.

Samajwadi Secular Morcha (SSM) has been formed to give a platform to those who have been ignored, former Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Shivpal Yadav said at a public meeting in Budhana town of district Muzaffarnagar on Friday evening.
Addressing over two thousand people Shivpal Yadav said that he had to take the decision to keep his and his brother Mulayam Singh Yadav’s self-esteem intact. He claimed that before making an announcement of the Morcha he had met Mulayam Singh thrice, who gave him his blessings.

He said that he was forced to form the Morcha as in spite of being committed to the SP, he was continuously being insulted and ignored. He said that he also faced suspension for no fault of his.

Rejecting the accusations that he was working on the directions of BJP, Yadav quipped that it is a baseless propaganda.
“The sole purpose of coming up with this Morcha is to provide a platform to the people who are feeling dejected and ignored,” he said.
He also accused the BJP government of not paying attention to the problems of the poor, the labourers and farmers and turning their backs on them.

Amid raging controversy over his party MP Ramji Lal Suman's remarks on Rajput ruler Rana Sanga, Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday said his party believes in social justice and establishment of an equilibrium society.
Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Ravidas Mehrotra said, "UP CM Yogi Adityanath should have said people of the state are safe. Today, though no sister and daughter is safe, there is jungle raj by goons in the state..."
