The Member of Parliament (MP) from Rohtak, Deepender Singh Hooda on Sunday alleged that the BhartiyaJanta Party (BJP) led Haryana government pushed the state behind by several years. He claimed the development has taken a backseat with the state government failed to provide jobs, unemployment allowance and fair prices for farmers.
Hooda claimed that Haryana is yearning for change as all sections of the society are remembering ten years of peace and progress during Bhupinder Singh Hooda’s term as the Chief Minister (CM). He claimed everyone wants development with amity, brotherhood and harmony and the Congress’ track record continues to inspire the people of the state and the country. He said country needs to come together to take forward development agenda.

Addressing party activists at a worker’s meeting at Safidon in Jind, Deepender said the BJP had made tall promises to mislead the youth of the state and the country. The hollowness of their promises and bankruptcy of their ideas has been completely exposed before the youth.
Attacking the government on the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) scam, Deepender claimed jobs in Haryana have dried up during the term of the BJP government and when the government does bring out some vacancies, the jobs get lost in corruption. The rot within the BJP government has been exposed and people have lost all hope, he added.
Taking on the BJP government, the Rohtak MP said BJP government made tall promises before the elections but they have failed to implement any of them. He said the people of the state were taken in by the BJP’s marketing and fell for their tall promises.
