Delhi Congress chief meets family of youth stabbed to death in NE Delhi
The Congress leader was accompanied by former MP Sandeep Dikshit to a ‘Didi’ who runs an “Aap Ki Rasoi’, a homely kitchen serving people affordable meals.
A youth allegedly stabbed his female friend multiple times with a knife, leaving her critically injured. The incident took place on a street in Adarsh Nagar area in Northwest Delhi.
The incident, which occurred on 2 January, has been captured in the CCTV footage, which has gone viral on social media.
Deputy Commissioner of Police, Northwest Delhi, Usha Rangnani said that information about a sensational daylight incident of stabbing of a girl was received at Adarsh Nagar Police station.During the course of investigation, the police mounted technical surveillance and found that the accused had absconded to Ambala from Delhi.

The police team reached Ambala and apprehended the accused on Tuesday, after raiding his possible hideouts. The accused has been identified as Sukhvinder Singh, 22, a resident of Adarsh Nagar.
In the 20-second long video, it can be clearly seen that the accused is initially walking along with the victim and talking to her. After walking a little distance, an argument between the two takes place. In the meantime, the accused takes out a knife and attacks the victim multiple times.
