In one of the rare incidents that happened at the Delhi Airport, a pregnant woman waiting for a flight at Terminal-3 of the airport, gave birth to a baby boy after she felt labour pain, at the terminal itself.

The infant along with his mother are being taken care of at the Medanta Clinic of the Indira Gandhi International Airport.

According to the sources, the woman was scheduled to board a flight to Karnataka’s Hubli on Tuesday morning along with her husband from T-3. She had gone to the washroom at the airport, where she felt labour pain.
She was immediately taken to the nearby medical facility present in the terminal at around 9.30 am and with the help of doctors the delivery was successfully completed in 20 minutes.
