There are intense speculations on whether Arvind Kejriwal would appear before the Directorate of Enforcement(ED) on Friday or once again skip the summons issued by the probe agency.

The AAP convener and Delhi chief minister, who has been summoned by the ED for the record fifth time on Friday in connection with the Delhi liquor policy case.

His party, however, informed that Kejriwal would take part in a protest to be held by the AAP outside BJP headquarters in Delhi against the alleged foul play in Chandigarh mayoral polls on Friday, the day he is supposed to appear before the ED.

Earlier, Kejriwal skipped the ED summons asking the agency for the reasons for appearing in person in his reply to its notices.

On the latest ED summons, The AAP said on Wednesday that they were studying the notices and would take a decision according to the law.

The AAP alleged foul play in the counting of votes during the Chandigarh mayor elections as eight of the votes were wrongfully declared invalid in a bid to defeat the INDIA bloc, who were to have a clean sweep in the election.
