The event aimed to promote the UN theme “Empowering Persons with Disability and ensuring inclusiveness and Equality” through an assembly in the school auditorium which was graced by Dr Pramit Rastogi, an eminent child psychiatrist and educator (Child First).

The students expressed their solidarity with the children of special needs through audio-visual presentations, articles, and dance of empowerment. A medley of songs serenaded by Surbhi Arya, a differently abled student of the school enthralled one and all. Dr Rastogi urged the students to expand their umbrellas and create a safe environment of inclusion and accept people with disability wholeheartedly.

Celebrating the spirit of inclusivity, the school students across all levels participated in a wide array of activities ranging from card making to slogan writing to bookmark and poster making.

The highlight of the day was coming together of our school students and special children from our partner schools on the field to form a ‘Wave of Inclusion’ symbolic of harmony, acceptance, compassion and consideration.
