The minister said there is no dearth of talent among the children studying in government schools.

“The Ballimaran area is constantly moving forward in the field of quality education. Like other government schools in Delhi, it is providing better education at par with private schools,” he said, adding that new buildings with model classrooms will soon come up in the area.

The main attraction of the annual event was the drama performed by the group of students with special needs on the theme of ‘national integration’. The line of the performance was ‘unity in diversity’ during the freedom movement in India.

The annual day function also witnessed the distribution of annual prizes and awards in the school. The academic toppers were awarded medals and certificates of appreciation.
