The entry and exit points at Central Secretariat and Udyog Bhawan Metro stations would be closed on Republic Day from 6 a.m. to 12 noon.
“The services of Delhi Metro will be curtailed on 26 January as part of security arrangements for the Republic Day celebrations as per the instructions of Delhi Police,” said Delhi Metro in a statement on Tuesday.

The statement further read that Patel Chowk and Race Course Metro stations would also be closed for entry and exit from 8.45 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. on Friday.

On 29 January, the day of Beating the Retreat Ceremony, the Central Secretariat and Udyog Bhawan Metro stations will not be accessible to commuters from 2 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.
“However, interchange of passengers from Line-2 to Line-6 (Kashmere Gate to Escorts Mujesar) and vice versa will be allowed at Central Secretariat Metro station during this period. Normal services at these stations will be restored at 6.30 p.m.,” the statement read.
Also, all Metro parking lots would remain closed from 6 a.m. on 25 January to 2 p.m. on 26 January.
