Delhi Cabinet to visit Yamuna Ghat after swearing in ceremony
BJP leader and MLA from Shalimar Bagh, Rekha Gupta, is set to become the new Chief Minister of Delhi. She and six newly appointed ministers will take the oath of office today.

The ‘Clean Water, Clean Mind’ Phase 2 under ‘Project Amrit’ was inaugurated at Chhath Ghat of River Yamuna near the ITO Bridge organised by the Nirankari Charitable Foundation on Sunday.
The programme organised across 27 states and UTs on a large scale witnessed participation of over 11 lakh volunteers. It envisages water conservation.

Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji of the Nirankari Mission highlighted the importance of water in everyone’s life and said it was like nectar. Water is the basic need of our life. It is our duty to take care of this clean and beautiful creation that God has given us.

The social wing of the Sant Nirankari Mission organised the project Amrit with inspiration from their former chief leader Baba Hardev Singh.
This year, the project took the form of public awareness through the basic message of ‘Aao Swaare, Yamuna Kinare’.
On the occasion, officials of the organisation, distinguished guests and thousands of volunteers and members took part in the noble cause.
Delhi University students and teachers also took part in the initiative along with other environment protection groups.
Secretary and Social Welfare in-charge of Sant Nirankari Mandal Joginder Sukhija informed that the campaign will continue to take place every month with the cleanliness drive at different banks of the river and other water sources.
