8-year-old raped in UP’s Agra, one held
In an unrelated incident, a 26-year-old man allegedly raped and murdered a minor girl in UP's Bulandshahr, police said last month.
A school teacher attacked a minor student with a pair of scissors for not doing her homework and then pushed down from the first floor in Delhi.
A female teacher at the Prathmik Vidyalaya, located in the Central Delhi, attacked a girl student of Class V, with a pair of scissors for not doing home-work and then pushed her down from the first floor of the school leaving her severely injured on Friday morning.
The incident took place in the area of DBG Road Police Station, and the victim got unconscious after receiving severe head injuries. She was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
A police team of the DBG Road reached the spot and nabbed the accused teacher. A case of attempt to murder has been registered by the police and further investigation is being carried out.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central Delhi), Shweta Chauhan, said that on Friday at about 11.15 am, the beat officer of the DBG Road Police Station, was informed by a person that one student has been thrown from the first floor of a school by her teacher and a gathering is there at the spot.
Immediately, the Station House Officer (SHO) of the police station along with other police staff reached the school and controlled the angry crowd there.
During the inquiry, it was revealed that the 5th Class teacher, of the Prathmik Vidyalaya, situated at Model Basti opposite Filmistan, Geeta Deshwal hit the girl student namely, Vandana, with a small paper cutting scissor for not doing homework. Not only this, she reportedly asked the victim to open the shoes and when she denied doing that she threw her down from the first floor of the school.
The injured student is under treatment at the Bara Hindu Rao Hospital and is stated to be in stable condition.
The accused teacher has been detained, who is said to have stated to the police that she was in anger, after having a fight with her husband at home before coming to the school. Further legal action is being taken.
