AAP neglecting waste management network: BJP
The Delhi unit of the BJP has criticised the AAP government in the MCD House for neglecting the deteriorating sanitation network in the national capital.
MCD Commissioner Gyanesh Bharti has directed concerned departments to maintain civic amenities at the organising grounds.
The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has granted permission to 400 Ramlila Committees to organize the function. The corporation had received 400 applications this time from various committees.

Bharti has issued an official order in this regard and directed concerned department to look after sanitation arrangements.

“Engineering department has been directed to maintain roads wherever it is required. DEMS department has been asked to tie up with Delhi Jal Board and to maintain the facility of toilets and water,” said the spokesperson.
Besides, Zonal Deputy Commissioner will grant the permission for setting up temporary tahbazari at Ramlila grounds in accordance with rules and after charging requisite fees.
Ramleela committees have also been allowed to display poster and banner related to Ramlila till it is over.
The Commissioner has also directed the concerned authorities to put up temporary street lights at organising grounds.
Meanwhile, MCD has requested all the Ramlila organising committees to abide by the rules and regulations framed by Supreme court, high court, NGT and DPCC.
