Delhi Chief Minister and AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday participated in the ongoing 9-day long ‘Ramkatha’ in Kidwai Nagar area of his Assembly constituency – New Delhi.
On Sunday, the Sundarkand recitation took place. The ‘Ramkatha’ will conclude on Monday with the ‘bhandara.’
The Chief Minister performed ‘puja’ and offered prayer to Lord Ram, wishing Delhiites peace, prosperity, and development.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is organizing ‘Bhandaras’ at various locations in Delhi on Monday.
Earlier on January 16, Sundarkand recitations took place at several places in Delhi including a recitation in Rohini where Kejriwal participated with his family.
The Chief Minister appealed to Delhiites to avail themselves of Delhi government’s scheme of facilitating free pilgrimages for the senior citizens.
