The court issued a notice to the AAP government, the South Delhi Municipal Corporation, the police, the civic body and the Delhi Jal Board, and sought their reply to the petition before July 24 ~ the next date of hearing.
The court also issued a direction to the RWA to file an affidavit giving a list of its members and indicating that they did not own illegally constructed properties.
The RWA has pointed out in its plea that illegal constructions and encroachments were going on under a high tension power line in the nearby areas.
The RWA alleged that before filing its PIL in the court it made several representations to the authorities concerned, but they took no action in this regard.
